Ivoclar Vivadent will donate $200,000 to provide disaster relief for people in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan.
The donation includes $100,000 to the Philippine Red Cross for direct emergency relief and $100,000 for the re-establishment of dental health care measures for the population at large, according to the company.
Ivoclar Vivadent has operated a manufacturing plant for ceramic and resin teeth near Manila since 1993 that employs 300 workers. Neither the employees nor the manufacturing plant was directly affected by the typhoon.
