Pharmaceutical startup Balanced Pharma has named Dr. Howard Glazer to its scientific advisory board.

Glazer joins the board as the company moves toward the commercialization of BPI-001 and BPI-002, which aim to offer less painful, faster-acting dental anesthesia injections. Balanced Pharma's patented container technology delivers acid-free formulations of lidocaine/epinephrine and articaine/epinephrine in a standard dental cartridge.
Glazer is a fellow and past president of the Academy of General Dentistry and a former assistant clinical professor in dentistry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
