CDC seeks applicants for oral health policy fellowship

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking applicants for its oral health policy/communication fellowship in Atlanta.

The fellowship is hosted by the U.S. National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion and the CDC Division of Oral Health. The fellow will have the opportunity to analyze data and develop novel frameworks, as well as support the development of oral health policies.

The fellow will also research and gather information, analyze existing and proposed laws and regulations, develop communications materials, and respond to inquiries. Additionally, the fellow can review and develop web and social media content and coordinate with partners to disseminate information.

The position is full time with a flexible start date, but fellows do not become employees nor do they receive employment-related benefits. The appointment can be up to one year and may be renewed depending on the availability of funds.

Qualified candidates must provide proof of health insurance to participate in the program. They must also have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant skill completed within the past five years.
