The University of Pikeville (UPike) in Kentucky broke ground on the Tanner College of Dental Medicine, which aims to help improve dental care access in the region.
Funded by a $25 million gift, the college's mission is to train dentists to serve rural and underserved areas, with the first students starting in June 2026.
