WVU gets $12M for dental school facelift

The West Virginia University (WVU) School of Dentistry received $12.6 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to renovate its campus facilities.

The university's Morgantown campus facilities, largely unchanged since 1957, will undergo a 50,000-sq-ft expansion and renovation. In partnership with WVU Facilities Management and SmithGroup, the modernization project is designed to improve oral health education and patient care. The WVU Board of Governors approved the first phase in September.
