The Southeastern Ohio Dental Clinic closed its Marietta office this month because it couldn't find a full-time dentist.
The clinic, which had operated since 2006, was forced to close when its dentist, Dale White, DDS, left in June, according to a story in the Marietta Times.
Another dentist filled in part time but couldn't make a full-time commitment to the clinic. The facility also lost a $59,000 health department grant this year that provided partial support.
Many of the clinic's customers didn't know the clinic had closed and were upset, staffers said.
