Dr. Zack Studstill received the ADA Distinguished Service Award at the ADA SmileCon meeting on October 15 in Houston.
Studstill practiced dentistry in Montgomery, AL, for more than 45 years. He currently serves as the executive director of the Alabama Dental Association. He previously served as president of the Alabama Dental Association and has served as an ADA trustee and the ADA second vice president.
Under Studstill's leadership, the Alabama Dental Association developed a four-year dental school tuition forgivable loan program that was administered by the Alabama Board of Dental Scholarships and Loan Awards.
He is currently developing a rural dental scholar's pipeline program with the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
