Pacific Dental Services and the Smile Generation plan to hold the 10th annual Smile Generation Serve Day on August 15.
At the event, Pacific Dental Services practices and volunteers throughout the U.S. will offer patients free comprehensive dental care, including cleanings, x-rays, scaling and root planning, and restorations and extractions. Most patients at this year's event are affiliated with After Innocence, an organization that supports prison exonerees.
Smile Generation Serve Day began in 2011, and since then more than 18,000 patients have received a total of $32 million in dental care, according to Pacific Dental Services.
