DenMat has launched a new educational platform, ThinNovation, featuring a two-day workshop for dentists wanting to learn about minimally invasive aesthetics and other educational programs.
The courses teach a multidisciplinary approach to anterior aesthetics using the latest generation of Lumineers, according to the company. The new approach uses fundamental smile design concepts coupled with a minimally invasive approach to produce superior aesthetics, while providing function and long-term stability.
The level 1 course covers key anterior aesthetics concepts, such as case analysis, detailed smile design, lab communication, occlusal equilibration, soft-tissue considerations, hands-on enamel contouring, cementation, polishing, and finishing. Course attendees will develop the skills to deliver treatment-driven aesthetics with ultrathin veneers. The course also provides 13 hours of Academy of General Dentistry continuing education credits to participants who complete the two-day program.
Advanced programs -- which include additional tooth preparation techniques, fast orthodontics, and tissue management -- are being scheduled for late 2013. DenMat is also planning to introduce new consumer campaigns via television and online.
