The good thing about anxiety is that it can tell us where something is wrong and needs to be addressed. Anxiety often is an emotion based on something that is not working well in the practice. When it is fixed, the anxiety can be reduced, and the practice performs better.

Do

Rely on experts. Accessing outside experts can be a tremendous help to reduce anxiety and create a better practice. For example, a certified public accountant firm can handle most of the financial commitments, such as tax information, tax filings, etc., on behalf of the practice. By having the right experts who are always on time and meet deadlines, your anxiety will be greatly reduced.

Don

Don't forget to breathe. The ADA recently reported that the number of dentists experiencing anxiety has increased significantly. Taking deep breaths throughout the day can help reduce anxiety and make you feel good.
