Dental Practice Made Simple is a video series from DrBicuspid.com and Levin Group. Tune in every other Friday for a quick tip from Dr. Roger P. Levin to learn how to build high-powered, proven systems that lead to practice success.

The No. 1 reason why patients decline treatment is price, said Dr. Roger P. Levin in the latest episode of Dental Practice Made Simple. But the holdup may not necessarily be the fee as much as how they have to pay for it.

"If we give them a convenient way to pay for it, we're going to have much higher case acceptance," Levin said.

Levin recommended offering at least three or four payment options, such as taking credit cards, providing a discount for paying in cash upfront, and offering financing. It's also important to have the options scripted so patients know you're working to make payment more convenient for them.

Watch the video below to learn more about offering different payment options.
