Delta Dental of Iowa has announced a partnership with ARAG to offer legal insurance and identity theft protection to its customers with fewer than 250 employees.
The partnership may provide small and midsize employers with an advantage in the recruitment and retention of workforce talent because they'll now be able to offer a more competitive benefits package, Delta said. ARAG -- an acronym for a German phrase meaning "legal protection insurance" -- provides employees access to a national network of attorneys with most covered matters paid in full.
Life events such as navigating an adoption, writing a will, creating a trust, buying or selling a home, or recovering from identity theft are all examples of the services available with ARAG custom legal coverage, Delta reported.
