One of the biggest topics in dentistry has been (and will seemingly always be) dental insurance. After all, it's such a vital part of so many practices and their cash flow and financial success.
However, the dance between the dental practice and the dental insurance company is sometimes not very well choreographed. Plenty of times, toes were stepped on because one of the dance partners didn't bring the proper skills to the dance.
Dental teams, I'm here to talk to you about that today -- specifically, what we can do on the clinical side to make sure the administrative side has all the tools they need to maximize the amount and timeliness of dental insurance reimbursement.
With that in mind, let me share some thoughts on what I have seen work in my practice and also in many practices throughout the U.S. If you have more questions about what we're doing as a practice to make our insurance dance the best it can be, drop me a line at [email protected]. I would be happy to continue the conversation with you.
