A dentist and her estranged husband died on November 18 in what police believe was a murder-suicide at the practice in Webb City, MO, where they were both employed. Another dental employee found them and called the police, according to news reports.
Camille Hostetter, DDS, and Windell Glass, who worked at the practice as a building coordinator and caretaker, were deceased when police arrived.
Glass shot Dr. Hostetter with a handgun and then turned the gun on himself, police said. The shooting took place in an upstairs room of the dental office while staff and patients were in the lower part of the building.
Though Dr. Hostetter filed for divorce in February, the couple continued to work together.
