Some people say that how you start your day is how you'll end it. So it's important to begin the day on the right note. Rally the troops and set the expectation for a productive day that includes great attitudes, stellar customer service, and excellent clinical care.

Do

Start your day the right way. Every practice should hold 10-minute daily business meetings. These morning meetings organize the day, create an opportunity to discuss any potential problems, and provide a calm and focused beginning to each day.

Don

Don't forget to schedule 60% to 65% of your production in the morning. Mornings are the best time to work on more complex, comprehensive, and challenging cases. By moving smaller, simpler procedures to the afternoon, you will end up generating 60% to 65% of practice revenue in the morning and finish the workday less fatigued.
