Teledentistry and digital imaging company MouthWatch has opened nominations for the seventh annual Teledentistry Innovation Awards, the Tellies.
These awards recognize individuals, programs, and organizations using teledentistry to improve access to care, oral health, and overall well-being. The five nomination categories include the following:
- Dentists and specialists using teledentistry to enhance patient journeys or clinical workflows
- Hygienists expanding access to care and improving patient care through teledentistry
- Oral health programs, including public health and dental service organization settings, transforming care with teledentistry
- Educational institutions integrating teledentistry into their curriculum or services
- Industry Innovators advancing dental care through teledentistry
Winners will receive a $1,000 cash grant and an invitation to the 2024 Tellie Awards in New York City. Nominations are open until October 1, with winners announced at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, which will be held November 29 to December 4. Nominations can be made via the Tellies website.
