Venture capital firm Dental Innovation Alliance announced a strategic investment into Alta Smiles, a provider of hidden orthodontic treatment.
It is the first institutional financing for Alta Smiles, according to DIA. Previously, Alta Smiles was self-funded via strategic individual investors.
Alta Smiles' hidden orthodontics use materials that eschew metal brackets combined with digital monitoring and remote consultation to support orthodontic care from anywhere, according to the companies.
