Dental equipment seller Tristate acquired by Radon

West Virginia-based Radon Medical Imaging has acquired dental and medical equipment provider Tristate Biomedical Solutions.

Terms of the acquisition, which further expands Radon’s presence in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Louisiana, were not disclosed. The transaction closed in June 2023.

For nearly 15 years, Tristate has sold and serviced dental equipment, including autoclaves, air technique compressors, and handpieces, as well as specialized imaging and respiratory equipment and a growing biomedical equipment engineering offering. Tyler Thornberry, CEO and founder of Tristate, will join the Radon leadership team and will remain a shareholder in the combined business.
