The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will host a free virtual continuing education (CE) event on artificial intelligence (AI) in dentistry on Friday, October 11, 2024. The course will provide 5.25 hours of ADA-CERP (continuing education recognition program) CE credits for registered attendees.
The event is the first virtual symposium sponsored by the VA. It is free and will be held live via Microsoft Teams. VA employees/trainees can register here, while non-VA attendees can register using this link. The VA provided additional registration instructions for non-VA attendees.
The symposium will discuss the advantages and pitfalls of incorporating AI and software as medical devices into the clinical environment. Additionally, it will provide clinicians with a framework for evaluating AI modalities and clinical decision support tools before integrating them into practice.
