Texas dental school launches regenerative science center

University Fascade

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry has launched its Center for Regenerative Sciences.

The center will explore tissue regeneration, 3D printing of tissues, and targeted drug delivery using growth factors and other molecules. Leveraging existing strengths in regenerative endodontics, dental and craniofacial development, and potent stem cell sources, the center aims to lead in this field.

Formally launching this fall, it will be one of three dental research centers, alongside the school's Center for Global and Community Oral Health and the Center for Pain Therapeutics and Addiction Research
