College of the Mainland in Texas City, TX, has launched its dental hygiene associate degree program.
Beginning in fall 2024, the public community college's program will feature smaller class sizes, modern facilities, and on-campus opportunities for students to complete clinical patient hours.
Currently, the program is undergoing review for initial accreditation status by the ADA's Commission on Dental Accreditation. Its accreditation status will be determined in August prior to enrolling the first cohort of students.
