The new oral and maxillofacial radiology residency program at the University of Florida (UF) College of Dentistry recently received initial accreditation by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), according to the university
The program will train dental residents to become board-certified in oral and maxillofacial radiology. The program will work closely with medical radiology at the UF College of Medicine, with residents spending time in the hospital attending rotations in neuro/head and neck radiology.
Three board-certified oral and maxillofacial radiologists with joint appointments in the colleges of dentistry and medicine will staff the program.
