All practices have systems. But are they the right systems for increasing production and creating a low-stress practice? Remember that habits are not the same thing as systems. True systems are documented and have repeatability. Habits will change with every staff turnover.
Document business systems. This allows you to train new team members and get them "up to speed" faster. Establishing step-by-step guidelines for every operation in the practice is critical to creating and maintaining success.
Don't think systems will last forever. All systems will become outdated as your practice experiences changing situations and circumstances. Old systems hinder the practice, destroying growth potential. For maximum efficiency, all systems should be replaced every five years.
