Manage your management systems
Dentists and specialists can increase income exponentially by implementing the right systems in their practice. Using reliable, time-tested methods enables the practice to develop into an extremely efficient business with excellent profitability, continual team development, and low stress. Conversely, practices that neglect their systems will feel the strain over time if they don't regularly review and replace them.
Customize systems to your practice. Each dental office has different requirements, goals, and philosophies that must be addressed when implementing management systems. Just because something works well for another doctor doesn't mean that it'll work for you. Take the most successful systems you can find and then tailor them to your office's unique situation.
Don't hobble along with outdated systems. Bottlenecks creep into management systems over time, resulting in reduced productivity and increased stress. Instead of tweaking and building workarounds, redesign systems every three to five years to keep the office operating efficiently.
