The family of a Missouri man who died of lung cancer is blaming years of radiation poisoning he received while working for a dental supply company.
Stacy Burris is suing Patterson Dental Supply and Henry Schein for failing to give her late husband the proper training and equipment he needed while installing and calibrating dental x-ray equipment, according to a story in the Kansas City Business Journal.
The suit alleges that Brandon Burris was not given a lead vest or other protective covering and was repeatedly exposed to the radiation.
His family is suing for wrongful death and seeks to recover medical expenses and loss of income, as well as damages.
