The ADA has opened nominations for its John W. Stanford New Investigator Award, which encourages dentists and dental students to conduct standards-based research and standards development.
Dental students, dentists who earned their dental degree after 2015, and dentists pursuing an additional degree or specialty may apply for the award. Submissions must be an original research paper or poster that addresses some aspect of the use of standards in the dental field.
The winner will receive a $1,000 honorarium, airfare, and accommodations to present the winning research at the July 2021 ADA Standards Committee on Dental Products annual meeting in Boston.
Applications are due by December 15.
