The president of the ADA has created a task force dedicated to helping dentists and dental practices recover from restrictions and closures during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, according to an ADA News story.
The Advisory Task Force on Dental Practice Recovery began meeting this month and includes practicing dentists and ADA experts in science, practice, law, and regulation. It will be responsible for developing the tools dentists need to transition back to helping patients, staff, and their practices once the unprecedented recommendation to only perform urgent and emergency dental care is lifted.
