Zimmer Biomet has reported lower sales in its dental segment in the fourth quarter of 2018 and for the year.
For the quarter (end-December 31, 2018), sales in the company's dental segment were $104 million, down 3% from $108 million in the same quarter of 2017. For the year, the company reported dental sales of $411 million, down 1.8% from $419 million in 2017.
Zimmer Biomet had net sales for the quarter of $2.071 billion, an increase of 0.1% from $2.018 billion in the same quarter a year ago.
