A Denver dentist has pledged to donate the proceeds of his forthcoming book to a local food bank.
Charles Barotz, DDS, will donate all the proceeds of his book, The Power of a Beautiful Smile, to the Food Bank of the Rockies, according to a press release. The book comes out July 12.
After seeing a recent report that 1 in 6 Americans is going hungry, Dr. Barotz decided to help.
"I have always wanted to share with the public how easy it is to maintain good dental health. That is why I published this book." Dr. Barotz said. "Now the public can read how they could achieve great dental health and at the same time, we can help the local food pantry."
Dr. Barotz's book also talks about the most advanced dental technologies, how patients can improve their dental health, and a technology for relieving headaches.
