Fluoride and adolescents' bones; building a Safety Net; and Zuckerberg on early adoption

I'm just back from the Yankee Dental Congress in Boston. It was great to get to meet many of the people who were there and get their thoughts on dentistry and on DrBicuspid.com. I'd like to thank everyone at the Massachusetts Dental Society for a smooth-running meeting.

While more Americans than ever have access to fluoridated water, controversy follows every municipality's decision to end or continue the practice. Now, researchers from the University of Iowa have published a study investigating the possible impact that fluoridated water has on the bones of young people. A practicing dentist since 1974, the executive director of Safety Net Solutions, Dr. Mark Doherty, has found success building health centers to serve underserved populations.
