Ultradent Products is celebrating its 35th anniversary as a family-owned, international dental supply and manufacturing company.
This month, Ultradent will hold a week's worth of events, including an employee picnic, game day, video presentation, and family movie night, according to the company.
Founder Dan Fischer, DDS, will also speak at the event. He founded Ultradent Products in 1979 after inventing and patenting the Astringedent hemostatic solution in 1976. Today, the company researches, designs, manufactures, and packages more than 500 materials, devices, and instruments used by dentists around the world. These products include the Opalescence tooth whitening system, VALO curing light, UltraSeal XT hydro, Ultra-Etch, and the company's new laser-sintered, aesthetic composite veneer system, Edelweiss.
Ultradent operates out of a 310,000-sq-ft, two-building facility in South Jordan, UT, home to more than 1,000 employees. The company also has nine offices and distribution centers worldwide, including subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, and South America.
