Planmeca is again providing its Planmeca Compact i dental care unit for the 2013 Ice Hockey World Championships in Finland and Sweden.
The system will be used in the emergency rooms at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki and Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm. It was used in the Helsinki venue last year, according to the company.
The Planmeca Compact i dental unit is designed to support the workflow of the whole dental team. The fully digital unit is ergonomic for the dentist and convenient for the patient, while conforming to safety and infection control regulations. At the hockey championships, the dental unit will help in diagnosing dental injuries and giving first-aid treatment, according to Planmeca.
