The Board of Trustees of the Hispanic Dental Association (HDA) has appointed Maritza Morell, DDS, MS, MPH, as its 2013 board president.
Dr. Morell is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a clinical attending at Boston Children's Hospital and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she is also the faculty advisor to the HDA student chapter.
In addition to her academic endeavors, Dr. Morell owns a pediatric dental practice in Massachusetts.
