Benco Dental is accepting nominations for the Lucy Hobbs Project Awards, designed to honor female dentists who are "setting new benchmarks in the dental profession and beyond."
Award categories include the following:
- Woman to Watch: Those creating positive changes for women
- Successful Practice/Icon in the Industry: Women who have achieved business success
- Mentorship: Recognizes the importance of advising young women
- Humanitarian: Women who work for charitable causes
- Clinical Expertise: Women who keep abreast of clinical trends and integrate innovations into practice
One female dentist will also be honored for outstanding overall achievement, the company noted. In addition, one award will be given to a male dentist who has improved the dental profession for women.
Click here to submit nominations; all must be submitted by January 21. They may be submitted by individuals and organizations, and self-nominations are accepted.
Nominees will be judged by the Lucy Hobbs Project advisory board. The winner will be announced on April 10 at Benco's CenterPoint Experience showroom in Costa Mesa, CA.
