Lennon's tooth incorporated into sculpture

A tooth extracted from John Lennon has been incorporated into a sculpture of the late artist, according to an article in the Toronto Sun.

The tooth of the late Beatles singer was purchased last year by Michael Zuk, DDS, a Canadian dentist, for more than $30,000 at an auction in the U.K. His sister, an artist, has now used a fragment of Lennon's molar in a clay bust of the late Beatles singer.

Once it goes on display at the Fringe Festival in Alberta, Canada, the artist hopes that it will lure donations from attendees to support Smile Train, a charity that provides free surgical care for children with cleft lip/palate.
