Tom's of Maine gives $100K to nonprofit clinics

Tom's of Maine is awarding $20,000 to five nonprofit clinics each as part of its Dental Health for All Program.

The money will help these clinics provide dental care in areas with the highest percentage of their population living under the poverty level in Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Washington, D.C., the company noted in a press release.

The following organizations each will receive $20,000:

  • Aaron E. Henry Community Health Services Center, Clarksdale, MS
  • Ben Archer Health Center, Hatch, NM
  • Christ Health Center, Birmingham, AL
  • HealthPoint Family Care, Covington, KY
  • Kids Smiles, Washington, DC

To date, Dental Health for All has helped make 200,000 additional patient visits possible, with $1 million in funding to more than 30 school and community-based dental clinics.
