Kaiser gives $200K to Md. clinic

Kaiser Permanente has given $200,000 to the Maryland Community Clinic to build and equip its first comprehensive dental health program, Kaiser said.

The donation was one of 700 grants the not-for-profit healthcare group gave in the second quarter of 2010, totaling approximately $13 million. The grants focused on expanding access to healthy food, reducing childhood obesity, and increasing care for the underinsured.
