OSspray launches dental therapeutic product

OSspray, a start-up company that specializes in biomaterials for air polishing applications, has launched its first product, Sylc, in the U.S., U.K., and Germany, according to a news story on Dentisty.co.uk. OSspray is a spin-off of King's College London.

Sylc, a dental therapeutic product, provides desensitization and cleaning, brightens teeth, and also rebuilds eroded tooth surfaces, according to the company. It is approved for sale in the U.S. and Europe, and OSspray plans rollouts in other regions over the next three years.

"Further developments over the coming two years will create a portfolio of next-generation products and help create a world-leading biomaterials specialty company focused on minimally invasive dentistry, caries management, and creating healthier smiles," said Jackie Walker, CEO of OSspray, in the story. "More importantly, these products will provide improved clinical outcomes for patients and dental professionals around the world."
