Komet USA has named Rick Cook as the company's new West Coast regional manager.
In his new position, Cook will be responsible for a 13-state area. His main focus will be to plan and prioritize all sales activities toward achieving Komet USA's sales and growth objectives, according to the company. He will also manage and support Komet USA's existing client base and develop new accounts, including large group practices and universities.
"With his skills and extensive knowledge of the dental industry, Rick will work to build sustainable business relationships between Komet USA and prospective clients," said Warren White, chief operating officer of sales and marketing, in a press release. "Rick's background in dental sales, especially in rotary instruments, also makes him the perfect person to monitor and report on market and competitor activities in his region."
For the last two years, Cook was Komet USA's district sales manager in California. He has 15 years of dental sales experience working for various manufacturers.
