Mydent International has introduced the Defend+Plus sterilization pouch with built-in dual internal indicator, eliminating the need to use separate indicator strips, the company annouced.
Defend+Plus pouches feature the same design and construction of standard Defend pouches, but include a built-in dual internal indicator (steam and ethylene oxide [EtO]) to allow the user to see that the correct sterilization temperature is reached within the instrument compartment without having to place an indicator strip inside the pouch.
Defend+Plus pouches with are offered in five sizes, packaged 200 to a box, and are available from most dental dealers, the company stated.
