Komet USA is offering UK Cutters for use on ceramics before glaze firing and on composite veneers. The cutters are specially designed to work on tooth-colored materials instead of using diamond or silicon carbide abrasives, according to the company.
The cutters provide superior surface quality and high material reduction for users, Komet said.
The cutters can also be used on transitions between veneer materials and metal frames. Made from hot-isostatically pressed tungsten carbide, the double toothing cutters provide a sharp toothing with unmarred blades, smooth surfaces, and longer service life, according to the company.
UK Cutters are available in five different shapes and sizes.
