AAE 2016 highlights

Hundreds of dentists, exhibitors, and researchers flocked to San Francisco for the 2016 American Association of Endodontists (AAE) annual session. The meeting, which took place from Wednesday, April 6, through Saturday, April 9, included research presentations, speaker sessions, and product demonstrations.

Dozens of researchers and companies demonstrated their latest endodontic-related products and ideas on the AAE exhibition floor.

At the entrance of the exhibition floor, the AAE member center provided conference attendees with endodontic information pamphlets, as well as a place to rest.

Maha Alghofaily, DDS, a second-year endodontics resident at the University of Maryland, presented a poster on research about statins and the healing of periapical lesions following nonsurgical root canal treatment.

Dentsply was one of dozens of companies exhibiting at the 2016 AAE annual session. Other companies included Sirona, J. Morita, and Zeiss.

The Pac-Dent booth displayed some of the company's recently launched Pac-Taper rotary files. The files are available in .04 and .06 taper and ISO tip sizes 15-60.
