Dental Practice Made Simple is a video series from DrBicuspid.com and Levin Group. Tune in every Wednesday for a quick tip from Dr. Roger P. Levin to learn how to build high-powered, proven systems that lead to practice success.
Is having a morning business meeting a waste of time? No, said Levin in the latest episode of Dental Practice Made Simple. In fact, having a morning meeting can save a practice time in the long run.
"I am a huge proponent of the daily business meeting because meetings help you to organize, save time, communicate well, be more efficient, and a number of other benefits," he said.
To hold a great morning meeting, Levin recommended taking the following steps:
- Start the day on a positive note. Ask each person to share something positive.
- Bring people together.
- Organize the day, including reviewing the schedule for doctors and hygienists.
- Allow everyone to ask questions, which can reduce stress.
- Look at the daily production goal. Ask what the team can do to hit that target.
"These are some simple ways and some wonderful ways to create a powerful daily business meeting -- and that meeting is going to save you time and enhance efficiency," Levin said.
