Delta Dental of California and its affiliates announced that Sarah Chavarria, who previously served as executive vice president and chief people officer, has been named as president of the organization.
Chavarria joined Delta Dental in 2017 with a successful track record of transforming organizations in the healthcare industry. She led the company's people organization, a role that grew to encompass management of the operations, product, Delta Dental Community Care Foundation, corporate social responsibility, and the corporate communications teams, the company said.
Chavarria will work alongside Mike Castro, who was appointed president and CEO of the organization in 2019.
