Ex-staffer of Ye makes bombshell allegations against dentist

The ex-chief of staff of Ye, best known as Kanye West, made explosive allegations against the rapper and his dentist, claiming Ye's dentist supplied the artist with large amounts of nitrous oxide to use recreationally, according to a story published on August 7 in the Daily Mail.

Milo Yiannopoulos, who worked for Ye from 2022 through May 2024, claimed in a legal affidavit that celebrity dentist Dr. Thomas P. Connelly, the director of cosmetic and restorative dentistry at the Roxbury Institute in Beverly Hills, CA, engaged in "reckless, unethical, dishonest, explorative and, upon information and belief, illegal conduct," according to the story.

Yiannopoulos, who stated that he made the same allegations in a complaint filed with the Dental Board of California, noted in the affidavit that he was making these claims out of "urgent concern" for Ye's health and safety and believes Connelly should have his license suspended for the alleged actions.

Additionally, Yiannopoulos said that he wouldn't release Ye's medical records and didn't name the artist explicitly in the accusations because the point was to shine a light on Connelly's alleged actions. In addition to reportedly supplying Ye with nitrous for recreational use, the former Ye employee stated he allegedly saw Connelly transport four surgical-size canisters of the anesthetic into the artist's home, according to the story.

Furthermore, Yiannopoulos alleges that Connelly charged $50,000 for these services and continued to supply Ye with the anesthetic despite Ye showing distressing symptoms, including confusion, erratic behavior, mood swings, and a weakened addicted state. Employees allegedly reported seeing Ye self-administer nitrous oxide and "seemed to be in and out of the inhaler mask on a near-constant basis," according to the story.

Also, Yiannopoulos said in the affidavit that Connelly reportedly moved into the artist's apartment, at no expense to himself, so that he could better monitor him.

A spokesperson for Connelly denied the allegations against him to TMZ, calling the statements "factually incorrect" as well as "intentionally misleading." Furthermore, the spokesperson claimed Yiannopoulos made the claims for attention while also maliciously ruining the dentist's reputation. Despite this vitriol, the spokesperson stated that Connelly will continue to adhere to all ethical and legal standards and provide all patients with the highest standard of care, according to TMZ.

Connelly helped design and place Ye's $850,000 titanium prosthodontics that the artist unveiled in January. The celebrity dentist's other clients have included rappers, Post Malone, and DaBaby.
