A former teenage intern recently filed a lawsuit against a New York dentist, accusing him of exposing himself and making vulgar comments about a decade ago.

The alleged victim, who is only identified in the filing as C.M., filed the suit on March 2 in the Supreme Court of the State of New York in Richmond County against Alan Kratenstein, DDS.

The former intern filed the suit against Dr. Kratenstein, who operates his own practice on Staten Island, under the Child Victims Act. The law, which was enacted in August 2019, extends the period in which a child sex abuse survivor can file a claim for damages, according to the suit.

The former intern accuses the 63-year-old dentist of allegedly exposing himself and "sexually and emotionally" abusing her and other interns at the office while she worked there between September 2008 and May 2009. She seeks an unspecified amount of damages for her emotional and psychological distress.
