Fire investigators believe an 11-year-old boy is responsible for setting the fire on November 9 at a dental office in Savannah, GA, that left the building with extensive damage, according to news reports.

The boy, whose case will now be handled in the juvenile court system, allegedly set fire to pine straw located at the back of the Savannah dental office of Philip I. Friedman, DDS, where the building's gas meter is located. The gas line fueled the fire, which destroyed the practice.

Fortunately, no one was injured because the dental office was closed at the time of the blaze.
