New product: 3Shape launches new scanners and software
3Shape has introduced new scanners and software at the Midwinter Meeting.
The new E4 scanner can accurately scan full arches within seconds. The E4 is equipped with four 5-megapixel cameras and skips the bite and die scans to save time. At a show demonstration, the scanner completed a full arch scan in 8 sec, about 12 sec faster than its predecessor, the E3. It will officially launch in August 2019, according to the company.
3Shape also introduced the Trios 3 Basic, an entry-level model of its signature intraoral scanner. Unlike the higher-end Trios, the Trios 3 Basic is a wired-only device that does not include access to all 3Shape apps. The scanner price will start at $23,500, the company announced.
