The Whitney M. Young Jr. Health Center in Albany, NY, has been awarded a $499,999 grant to establish a community-based dental residency program.
The program, which was funded by a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services grant, will improve access to dental care to residents with lower incomes, including Medicaid recipients. The funding will be used to build the infrastructure to support the program.
