The University of Oklahoma (OU) College of Dentistry has launched the state's first pediatric dental residency program.
The two-year program has a special emphasis on treating children with medical complexities and developmental conditions and aims to increase the number of pediatric dentists in Oklahoma and improve access to comprehensive oral care. Three residents began their training in July, working with faculty and other health professionals.
